Foods not to take before sleep

It's generally best to avoid consuming heavy, fatty, or sugary foods before bed, as they can interfere with your sleep & digestion.

Here are some examples of foods to avoid before sleep: Spicy foods: Spicy foods can cause heartburn, indigestion, & stomach discomfort, which can make it difficult to fall asleep.

High-fat foods: Foods that are high in fat, such as cheeseburgers, pizza, & fried foods, can take longer to digest, causing discomfort & making it difficult to fall asleep.

Chocolate: Chocolate contains caffeine and a compound called theobromine, which can stimulate your brain & make it harder to fall asleep.

Alcohol: While alcohol may initially make you feel sleepy, it can disrupt your sleep cycle & cause you to wake up frequently during the night.

Large meals: Eating a large meal before bed can also interfere with your sleep, as your body will be working hard to digest the food, making it difficult to relax & fall asleep.

Carbonated drinks: Carbonated drinks like soda can cause bloating, gas, & indigestion, which can disrupt your sleep.

High-sugar foods: Foods that are high in sugar, such as candy, cookies, & other sweets, can cause a spike in your blood sugar levels, leading to restlessness & difficulty sleeping.
