Home Remedies for gum problems

Gum problems can range from mild to severe, & it's important to see a dentist for proper diagnosis & treatment.

However, there are some home remedies that can help alleviate the symptoms of gum problems.

Saltwater rinses: Mix 1 teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water & swish it around in your mouth for 30 seconds before spitting it out.

This can help reduce inflammation & kill bacteria. Tea tree oil: Dilute a few drops of tea tree oil in a carrier oil like coconut oil & massage it into your gums for a few minutes.

Tea tree oil has antibacterial & anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce gum inflammation & fight off infections.

Aloe vera: Apply fresh aloe vera gel directly to your gums to help reduce inflammation & soothe any pain or discomfort.

Oil pulling: Swish a tablespoon of coconut or sesame oil in your mouth for 15-20 minutes before spitting it out.

Turmeric: Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder with a few drops of water to make a paste & apply it to your gums.
