How to control your mind through meditation?

Meditation is a powerful tool for calming the mind & gaining greater control over your thoughts & emotions. 

Here are some steps you can take to use meditation to control your mind:Find a quiet place: If you want to be calm, you should find a quiet place. 

A place where you won't feel disturbed. It might be a park, a room in your house, or some other place where you can feel relaxed & comfortable. 

Sit comfortably: Sit in a comfortable position with your back straight & your feet flat on the floor. You can sit on a cushion or chair if it helps you to maintain good posture. 

Focus on your breath: You should focus on your breath by closing your eyes. With this, you must feel the sensation of the breathing process as your breath enters & leaves your body. 

You can count your breaths or repeat a mantra to help you focus. Observe your thoughts: As you meditate, thoughts will arise. 

Don't try to push them away or get caught up in them. Instead, observe them without judgment & let them pass. 

Bring your attention back to your breath: Whenever you notice your mind wandering, gently bring your attention back to your breath. 

Don't judge yourself or get frustrated; this is a natural part of the meditation process.
