How to Cure HIV?
HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus, is a virus that attacks the immune system & can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
HIV weakens the immune system by destroying the white blood cells that are responsible for fighting infections & diseases.
HIV is spread through contact with bodily fluids such as blood, semen, vaginal fluids, & breast milk.
The most common modes of transmission are unprotected s*xual intercourse, sharing of needles & other injection equipment by drug users, & transmission from mother to child during pregnancy, delivery, or breastfeeding.
HIV cannot be transmitted through casual contact such as shaking hands, hugging, or sharing utensils. Symptoms of HIV can vary & may not appear for several years.
Some common early symptoms of HIV include flu-like symptoms, such as fever, fatigue, & swollen lymph nodes.
As the disease progresses, more serious symptoms may occur, including opportunistic infections and cancers, weight loss, & neurological disorders.
